Green Brand Awards: Three new awards for Noetik's web-based application

The awards

The web-based application designed and built by Noetik on behalf of the Regulatory Authority for Waste, Energy and Water (RAEWW) at the Green Brand Awards 2024 was overall awarded two silver and one bronze award for the «Smart Guide to Saving Energy in Buildings and Homes».

Specifically, RAEWW won silver awards in the «Launch for Green Service» and «Green Platform» categories and a bronze award in the «Green Project» category.

The event was held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Sofitel Athens Airport by BOUSSIAS events. Held for the 4^th consecutive year, it aims to reward excellence and innovation in products, services and development processes, which promote Eco Living and the GREEN economy.

The purpose of the Energy Saving Guide is to offer savings proposals adapted to the characteristics of each building, so that it can be used by any consumer. To do so, the application:

Is user-friendly for any consumer.
Is technically and scientifically sound.
Takes into consideration technical characteristics, current building state, meteorological and statistical data from Eurostat and building equipment.
It also presents the significant energy savings in a comprehensive way.

Noetik designed and developed a Progressive Web App (PWA) in the form of a multi-step wizard. At the end of the wizard, users can see a broad report presenting the impact of each measure in terms of energy and cost saving.

The application is available in the Greek and English language. Moreover, it is backed by an administration panel from where RAEWW administrators are able to adjust calculation parameters and rules.

At the same time, users have the option of creating an account to save complete or incomplete guides. The ability to export and import guides to Json files is also provided.
